Memorial
Week has come and gone. The fishing was good as usual, but the
weather was unpredictable. The week starting with rain and
wind, but the sun returned on Monday for the rest of the week.
Our average temperatures are running about 65-72 degrees. The
water is rising due to all the rain we have been getting. It
is still a little tough getting into One-Mile Lake, but Carter Lake
is still producing. The water temp. is about 68 degrees.
You can check out this weeks weather by clicking on the North Star
weather link. The Rhoades group from St. Louis had a good time
and good fishing. We had a few first time guests, the
Darling's from St. Louis and the Lindholm's from Colorado. The big
pike were biting this week. Check out the 40" monster
pike Soken Lindholm. caught and Bob Wilkes, of Chicago caught
this nice 38 incher. The Zimmermans limited out on their pike
in one afternoon! The walleye were biting as well. Jeff
Buschen, Chicago caught this nice one for lunch.
