News from opening week 2010

Recent News Blog:  Opening week had beautiful weather and great fishing. We were unseasonably warm for opener, but it was welcomed.  Check out these pics from the McClure group and Larry Reeds monster Northern.  The hotspots for the week were Green Creek in the North Arm, Twilight Creek also in the North Arm, One-Mile point, Canyon river Falls and Seige Bay.  The water temp is 55-58 degrees and the water level is a tad lower than normal.

If you are crossing the border at International Falls and heading east toward Hwy 502, you can expect delays and a possible toll bridge near the indian reservation.  There is also construction between Dryden and Vermilion Bay on Hwy 17.  It may be easier to head west from Fort Frances and come up Hwy 71 to Hwy 17 and then head east toward Vermilion Bay.  There is also construction on the bridge north of Vermilion Bay on Hwy 105, so you can expect delays there.  See you Soon!!
