The Water Level is Going Down

The water level is slowly going down from our highest mark this spring. It is almost back to normal, but still a little high. Some of the "nasty" rocks are just under the surface and causing problems. Please remember, if you see a jug, go on the outside of it, not between the jug and shore. Also, don't cut between the islands. The weather this past week was cooler and rainy. The sun started to shine later in the week. The main lake temp is 59 degrees. The fishing has been good, except for the one day the wind blew about 30mph from the north. Some of the late spring spots have been turning on, Pipp's point up the North Arm, One Mile Point, Banana Point on up the river. The smallmouth have been biting in Canyon River Falls, which is a beautiful spot for fishing and catching. Carmon was guiding the Hansen group from Wisconsin and were successful with both walleye and northern.
