The
temperatures are starting to warm up, but that also brings
thunderstorms. We had a few days last week that were in the
upper 70s and lower 80s. The water temperature is about 68
degrees. The fish are starting to move out of the spring spots
and into their summer spots. The fish are gathering around the
islands, and the sunken reefs. Last week, One-Mile Point was
producing, Xmas Tree Island and the North Shore. The Ray
Choquette group caught a beautiful 31.5 inch Walleye and some nice
Pike. The Corwin group from Illinois, guided by Rob, caught some
nice smallies and walleye. They also ventured out on a day
trip to Big Canon Lake for a little trout fishing. The
Monteith group from Wisconsin caught these
monster northern, the biggest was 42"!!
