5-12th: The weather has not been great, but the fishing has!
Minnow sales have been hot so the plane comes daily. The
weather is supposed to level out this upcoming week and be in the
70s. The lodge was hopping last week with evening mealers and
American Plan guests, Burn's and Caponera group from Chicago,
the Nermoe group from Sioux Falls and Mankato, and the
Laffrenzen's. The Laffrenzen group tried the meals for the
first time this year and were sorry they hadn't tried them before. Riley celebrated
his 14th birthday with a cake Meighan, our cook made
special. The fish are biting in all the same spots.
Carter Lake remains good as well as West Narrows, Green Creek and
the Kudrna group caught some good eyes in Indian Dog Narrows.
