Fishing Has Been Great!

Last week was a busy week at camp. July 1st was Canada Day and of course July 4th was Saturday. We had fireworks for both Holiday celebrations. Meighan, North Star Lodge cook, worked hard on these prize winning cakes. The weather was a little rough early in the week, but the sun returned for Canada Day. The fish are moving into their summer spots, West Narrows, Christmas Tree Island, Burnt Island and Twin Islands. The fish are hanging out between 16 and 24 feet. Check out these photos from last week. The Dworetsky family caught these nice "eyes" at Indian Dog Narrows. Allan caught this nice 26 1/4 inch walleye and his dad, Phil, caught this 25 1/4inch beauty. Ken came with this nice 40 1/2 inch Pike. Steve also caught a 25 1/2 inch walleye at Indian Dog Narrows. The Rametta family, Adam, Lesa and Emma caught these great fish at West Narrows.
