Second Week of July 2009
The first few days of the second week of July was dry and beautiful with light wind. The second half of the week was sunny, but very windy. The fish were loving the "walleye chop". The walleye in Clay Lake are still migrating to their normal summer locations. Most of the fish are being caught between 18 and 22 feet. Burnt Island is still hot with Xmas tree and the Twin Islands starting to heat up. West Narrows is still producing lots of fish. Indian Dog Narrows is also having its good days, especially Ed's Point which is producing most of the big fish. Coopers, Banana Point and Segise Bay are all fishing well, with Banana Point really producing lots of numbers. Stan was able to take his nephew, Wyatt and brother-in-law, Mike out fishing and caught these nice walleyes. Check out the photos.
